Morgan's big week

Morgan had a big week. She started it by going to the eye doctor and discovering she was far-sighted and needed glasses for reading and practicing the piano. She was very excited to get them and looks so cute with them on!

Morgan has been growing her hair out to donate it to Locks of Love (locksoflonve.com) to make wigs for children who have cancer. We measured her hair and decided it was time to cut it. We took her to the salon and they took great care of her. They cut her hair into a cute a-line bob which makes her look so much older...especially with her new glasses on!

Finally, Morgan started school on the 15th of August. I can't believe summer is almost over. We miss her at home so much. We love you Morgan.

Happy Birthday Nate!

Nate turned 4 on July 30th. We had a great day. We went to the matinee "Surf's Up" with the Cottles, went to dinner at Red Robin (a favorite for the kids because they get a free sundae on their birthday), opened presents and ate cake and ice cream. Nathan had a snake cake that he really liked. Happy Birthday Nate!

Perrine Bridge

We had a great time last weekend spending time in Twin Falls. We went down for my High School reunion and decided to take the family. Twin Falls is so beautiful. It is amazing I didn't realize it when I was living there. This picture is under the Perrine Bridge at the Snake River. We had a great time even though it was HOT!

Yankee Doodle Dandy

We had a great time on the 4th of July. We spent the time with Steve, Amber and Cooper. We are so glad they came to visit. We enjoyed a barbeque, spent time at the splash park and topped it off with fireworks. The kids especially liked holding sparklers.

You're Invading My Space

It has been so fun watching Andrew grow up. He is 9 months now and definately knows how to hold his own with an older sister and brother.

Oceanside in June

School is out! We decided to take a trip to California and experience some of the sites. We met Rich and Kim (David's brother and his wife) and their two kids. We stayed in a condo in Oceanside (thanks Bob and Corene!) on the beach. The first day was an excursion to Disneyland. The weather was great and Nathan was tall enough to ride most rides and he loved it.

Beach Baby

Andrew experienced the beach for the first time and loved the sand...we just wish the water would have been a little warmer!

Shamu...we love you

Our last excursion was to the world famous Sea World. Our kids loved the shows and the rides but they had most fun petting the sting rays, picking up the starfish and feeding the dolphins.

Memorial Weekend

For Memorial Day, we spent the weekend in Utah visiting family and friends. We had a great time catching up with family and the kids had a blast playing with their cousins, riding horses and 4-wheelers and seeing their grandparents. Thanks to everyone for making it a memorable weekend...no pun intended!

Peaceful Andrew

Andrew sleeping peacefully while waiting for mommy to do her hair...notice his little hands.

Nate and Miss Alina

Nathan had his final day at Small Hands preschool last week. We attended his "Participation Program" where his class shared songs and other things they learned throughout the year. We are so proud of Nathan and the great student he was.

Let's Get The Party Started

Today is the christening of the Jenson Family blog. Our hope is that it will keep our close friends and family up to date on what our little family is doing in Boise, Idaho. We hope to post on this blog once every week (at least) and we welcome any postings from you. Soon to come...photos!
